I finished my master’s degree at NYU’s Journalism Institute in 2014, focusing on news and documentary. My first documentary, When You Can’t See The Film (see an excerpt here), was selected by United Nations Association Film Festival, Massachusetts Independent Film Festival, and New York City Independent Film Festival, among others. I have produced videos for NBC News Digital, New York Times Local East Village, Yahoo Mexico, NYC Media, NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study, and Storyhunter TV.
I was born and raised in China, and I’ve been traveling widely in China and North America. So far my favorite city is Chengdu. Other than filming and editing, I enjoy reading a lot. My interests include economics, history, psychology and literature.
